Is there any kind of remedy for Iritable bowel syndrome (IBS) without going to the doctor?
What ibs basically is-is after eating immediately having to go to the bathroom with an upset stomach and diahrrhea. Is there any vitamin or any home remedy for this?
Well i tried these caplets O.T.C. called Digestive Advantage I.B.S. . The company name is Ganeden. It took about 2 weeks to work. I know its safe because im pregnant and my doc. said i could still take it when necessary. Also Im sure you know to stay away from caffiene, acidic foods , any vegetable with seeds and liquor. Feel better



well, if you're observant of your diet, change it. and if that does't work, go see the doc… IBS could be a symptom of something else…

Find out if you have an alergy to a food you are eating. Olive oil does it for me, so does Mt. dew.

Have at least 1 cup of fiber a day. Get the powder fiber you mix with water, usually orange flavor. I'd get one that has Husk fiber in it. Best way to go is the Equate(walmart) brand that says it's like metamucil. Have and 8oz. glass each morning and evening. You should start to notice a difference in about a week. If you want quicker results, go for 3 times a day. Make sure you have 8oz of water with one of the scoops, and wash it down with some more water. Let me know how it works for you. It worked wonders for myself!!!

Take peppermint oil in enteric-coated capsules. Herbs like chamomile, valerian, rosemary and lemon balm are effective due to their antispasmodic properties. Drink ginger tea or eat ginger raw to reduce inflammation. Eat amla to control indigestion and hyperacidity.

Eat fresh vegetables and fruits. Eat a fiber rich food. Fiber improves working of intestine and stabilizes the symptoms. Avoid caffeine and fat. They may cause cramps in intestine. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Avoid carbonated beverages. Gas produced due to their consumption will worsen the symptoms. Eat small meals frequently instead of a large meal. Eat foods which contain good amount carbohydrates e.g. rice, pasta and so on.
