Does the Acai berry supplement and colon cleanse thing really work?

July 25, 2009 by admin · 7 Comments

I have heard the Acai berry and Colon cleanse “diet” works really well. I am iffy on taking these supplements – do they work? what kind of effects will it have? If I take this am I going to be in the bathroom all day and night?

When I was interested in this, I read the reviews on Amazon.com (that’s where I was buying it from since I didn’t want to give my debit information to some site I didn’t trust).

Basically, what I got from that was that the acai berry supplement energizes *some* people, but doesn’t really contribute to weight loss at all.

The people who were pleased with the Colon Cleanse were using it to become regular and not to lose weight. Some people said that they had lost a few pounds from removing all the waste that had built up in their intestines. Generally, the people who were trying the acai/colon cleanse combination did not lose weight, or did not lose enough weight to be satisfied.

If you read the directions, you have to adjust the number of pills you take so that you are having 2-3 bowel movements per day.

Side effects include cramping, bloating, and diarrhea.

Can Beef Cause Constipation?

March 15, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Constipation

Just as there are foods out there that can lower your chances of constipation, there are also foods that can increase your chances. Among the prime suspects is beef. Meats such as beef, pork and lamb do not fare very well in the human digestive system. Dairy products and wheat can also cause constipation. Individuals with sensitive systems can feel sluggish and bloated after eating meat. They can also find themselves constipated shortly after eating it.

With the current crop of popular protein-rich and low-carb diets flooding the markets, there will probably be a dramatic increase in constipation cases. What is it about beef that affects so many digestive systems?

The Beef About Beef

Beef has certain identifying proteins within its chemical composition that can cause problems with the digestive system of someone who has Irritable Bowel Syndrome. In the lining of the intestines, there are millions of nerves that control the movement of the food waste. The proteins within beef have an almost narcotic effect on those nerves. The nerves fail to do their job and the waste stays where it’s at, causing constipation.

Another way that eating beef can cause constipation is when it’s not cooked properly. Some beef has parasites within it that don’t get killed when the beef is under-cooked. When you eat the under-cooked beef, the parasites are allowed entrance into your body and once there, they wreck havoc. The parasites multiply and eventually cover the lining of the intestine, making it nearly impossible for nutrients to be absorbed into the body. They can also block the alimentary canal and actually stop the food waste from leaving the body.

Beef is best eaten when it is cooked medium-rare to medium. At that stage, it can still be broken down by the acids in the stomach. When beef is cooked well-done, it is very hard for the body to break it down and digest it properly. When the beef isn’t broken down and digested, it just sits there in the digestive system, blocking everything up.

Interesting tidbit – When someone is sensitive to beef, they are almost always sensitive to milk and dairy products. The fact that the milk comes from the same place as the beef, it’s no surprise!

Does That Mean I Have To Give Up My Hamburgers?

There are ways to lower your chances of constipation that still allow you to enjoy your burgers or steaks. First and foremost, you need to make sure your beef is cooked thoroughly before eating it. Here are a few details describing what internal temperature your meats should be cooked to, to be considered safe to eat:

  • Beef Hamburgers—160 degrees
  • Beef, Lamb and Veal (steaks, chops and roasts)—Medium Rare-145 degrees, Medium-160 degrees

Following a well balanced diet can help deter the effects of beef on your gastrointestinal system. Increasing your fiber intake and drinking plenty of water can help to flush out many of the proteins that can cause problems before they can begin. Of course, by incorporating a routine exercise program, you can decrease the chances of becoming constipated.

When your digestive system is constipated, it can become compacted with toxins, mucous and impacted waste. This can cause your body to react in a myriad of ways including:

  • Weak immune system
  • Mood swings
  • Bad breath and body odor
  • Backaches
  • Weight problems and loss of appetite

If you are suffering from constipation, there are products available that can help solve the current constipation and protect against future constipations. Products like Oxy-Powder do a magnificent job of cleansing and detoxifying the colon.

Oxy-Powder is an all-natural substitute for laxatives that can sometimes be more of a hindrance than a help. Oxy-Powder has a revolutionary formula that gently cleanses the colon over a 12-hour period, detoxifying it and leaving you feeling clean and fresh afterward. Oxy-Powder has the ability to rid the digestive tract of deep-down sludge and mucous and even promotes a healthy environment for beneficial bacteria to grow.

A clean digestive tract can actually boost your immune system. By keeping a healthy digestive tract, your body can better fight off colds, flus and other viruses. You’ll feel better and the nutrients in the foods that you eat can now be absorbed easier and more fully by the body.

The secret of Oxy-Powder is its incredible formula. It uses a combination of oxygenated magnesium, germanium and citric acid to liquefy impacted stools and allow the body to pass the toxins and deep-seated fecal matter, leaving behind a clean colon. After the initial cleanse, you can continue taking a lower dose to maintain your prime digestive environment, even while you eat beef. With Oxy-Powder, you can have your beef and eat it too!

How do you treat hard stool without constipation?

March 14, 2009 by admin · 5 Comments

Someone in my family has very hard bowel movements that often block up the toilet. He already drinks a lot of water and eats a lot of fruits and vegetables, and doesn't experience constipation or any difficulty…just toilet blockage (and it's not the toilet because it happens in all toilets). I assume it's because his intestines are taking too much water out of the stool but since he already drinks a lot of water, etc. I don't know what would help. Anybody dealt with something similar?

He can use a stool softener. Docusate sodium can be purchased over-the-counter in supermarket pharmacies and drug stores. Your family member should also consider that he may be taking in too much dietary fiber. Try cutting back.

Fecal Impaction Vs. Constipation

February 28, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Constipation

Constipation and fecal impaction is not the same thing. Many people think that they are the same. While they both involve the intestines, bowels and fecal matter, they are two different problems that have to be treated differently.

Constipation is the term used to describe slow moving feces or stool through the intestines. The longer it takes for fecal matter to be eliminated from the body, the drier and harder it will become. Symptoms of constipation include passing small, dry hard stools, a feeling of incomplete evacuation, straining, fatigue, bad breath, skin eruptions, abdominal pain, hemorrhoids and irregular bowel movements.

Fecal impaction is the term used to describe a large mass of hard stool or fecal matter that is “stuck” in the rectum. Symptoms of fecal impaction may be similar to constipation symptoms. However, in addition to those symptoms the individual may have bladder problems, back pain, nausea, vomiting, dehydration, a distended abdomen, a rapid heartbeat, sweating, fever, dizziness and even high or low blood pressure. Individuals who have a fecal impaction may also experience very explosive diarrhea. This diarrhea does not remove the impaction, it moves around the impaction.

Constipation can be very uncomfortable and annoying. Fecal impaction is far more dangerous than constipation. Fecal impaction can be life threatening. Fecal impaction that is not treated can worsen and the individual could possibly die from it.

Constipation can be caused by numerous things including not eating enough fiber, not drinking enough liquids, a lack of exercise, certain medications, changes in lifestyle or routine, ignoring the urge to move your bowels, abusing laxatives, irritable bowel syndrome, pregnancy, traveling and other various reasons.

Fecal impaction can be caused by ignoring constipation, pain medications, illness and long term use of laxatives. Many people are surprised to learn that prolonged use of stimulant laxatives can lead to fecal impaction, but it is true. With prolonged use the colon can become dependent upon the laxative to aid it in evacuation. When the colon has been exposed to laxatives and stool softeners for a period of time and then it does not get the expected dose, constipation and fecal impaction can occur. To put it simply, prolonged laxative use can make your body forget how to move and evacuate fecal matter on its own.

If constipation is not addressed and an individual develops fecal impaction it cannot be treated as easily. Fecal impactions in the rectum must be removed manually by a medical professional.

Constipation should be addressed at its onset to prevent a fecal impaction. Steps to alleviate constipation can include making changes in the diet, drinking an adequate amount of water, exercising and doing a colon cleanse. Tips to aid in stool evacuation include the following:

  • When you are sitting on the toilet, it is important that you do not hold your breath when you are trying to eliminate a stool. A good constipation tip is to breathe in your nose and out through your mouth. Holding your breath while you are trying to pass a stool can actually hamper the elimination process because it closes up the bottom.
  • Learn how to push without straining. When you have placed your feet on the stool, simply lean forward and breathe normally. This will enable your stomach muscles to push the stool out without straining. Essentially, you are pushing from your waist.
  • You should always respond to any sign that your bowels want to move. Delaying or putting off a bowel movement can aggravate constipation. No matter where you are, if you feel like your bowels want to move, find a bathroom.

Don’t let constipation get the better of you. Be proactive and take the necessary steps to keep you body’s digestive system in good health and running smooth.

Pregnancy Constipation Symptoms And Treatments

February 27, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Constipation

During this article we will discuss the problem of pregnancy constipation and hopefully provide you with some ways in which to treat it.

Where some women may feel bloated or they may pass small rabbit like stools others may often have to strain when they are actually having bowel movement.

Pregnant women will often suffer from constipation during the pregnancy and in the days after they have actually delivered the baby. Some women may even suffer from painful bowel movements after having a episiotomy (a repair made to torn rectal tissue). Women who have had an episiotomy will often consciously or unconsciously try to prevent themselves from having a bowel movement. Whilst some women who have had a caesarean section will find that their bowel movement is temporarily paralyzed and is known as an ileus.

Below are some helpful hints wish should help to alleviate or prevent constipation from occurring.

1. Make sure you exercise daily. It is a great way of preventing constipation and even light to moderate walking will help to loosen your bowels as well as making you feel lest bloated.

2. Drink lots of fluids. Whilst pregnant the amount of water absorbed from your intestines into your blood increases. So it is important that you increase the amount of water you drink to keep both your intestines and the baby healthy. You really should try a drink at least 10 x 8 ounce glasses of water a day and if you are somewhere that is hot and humid then your water intake should be increased further. By keeping your body hydrated with water you will help to prevent constipation.

3. Calcium and Vitamin Supplements. It is important that you take the appropriate supplements but be aware that there are some which can cause bloating and constipation. Studies have been carried out which show the best calcium supplements for a pregnant woman to take are those which dissolve easily in the pH of vinegar such as TUMS and Cal citrate. It is vital that you avoid antacids which contain aluminum as these will only cause constipation.

There are prenatal vitamins around which have been specifically formulated for use by pregnant women and that their digestive tract will tolerate. These types of vitamins will cause less nausea and bloating and they contain iron, Folate and B Vitamins all of which are essential to a pregnant woman.

4. However there are some pregnant women who will need to take a stool softener in order to relieve their constipation and these work by decreasing the wall tension between the colon and the stool. They act mainly as a way of keeping a pregnant woman’s stools soft so making their removal from a pregnant woman’s body much easier.

5. A great natural remedy you could use when pregnant is to alternate between hot and cold food and drinks. A simple way of doing this is to either drink cold fluid or eat ice chips and then drink a warm fluid (may be tea). Doing this will help to stimulate and tone your bowel as well as helping to release gas that has been building up in your bowel.

6. Other women may find that resting in bed for either all or part of their pregnancy helps.

Hopefully the hints provided above will any constipation problems that occur during your pregnancy and it is important that you talk to your doctor about any problems you are having in relation to constipation. Unfortunately pregnancy constipation that a lot of women will have to contend with when they are having a child and normally clears up after the birth.

Constipation and High Blood Sugar

February 16, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Constipation

Most people experience constipation at some point in their life. They make a note to eat more fiber and expect everything to go back to normal in a day or two. Luckily, for the better percentage of those inflicted, this method works. Not so lucky are the ones who are battling something much more serious than the occasional bout of constipation.

Constipation is a condition that can be very difficult to find the originating cause. There are so many different causes, from medicines to lifestyle changes, that pin-pointing the true cause of the constipation can be like finding a needle in a haystack.

One potential cause that medical experts are looking very closely at is the relation of high blood sugar and constipation. What effect does blood sugar have on the digestive system? Are diabetics at higher risk for constipation?

As it turns out, diabetics are definitely more at risk of experiencing constipation. Nearly 60% of all diabetics also suffer from constipation. Abnormal blood sugar levels can negatively affect many of the body’s systems and functions. When blood sugar levels are elevated, the nerves in the intestines that control the length of time waste stays in the body can be seriously damaged. The nerves can’t do their job properly and food waste begins to build up in the intestines. This doesn’t happen over night, of course. This condition affects type 1 diabetics who have been using insulin for a number of years.

Another disastrous effect high blood sugar has on the gastrointestinal system is Gastroparesis. Gastroparesis is when nerves in the stomach are damaged to the point that they can no longer work properly. The stomach doesn’t know when to send the food through the digestive tract. Up to 75% of diabetics also have Gastroparesis.

How Does High Blood Sugar Damage the Nerves of the Intestine?

High blood sugar damages the actual blood vessels that carry oxygen and essential nutrients to the nerves of the stomach and intestine, or the vagus nerves. With the necessary nutrients and oxygen severely reduced, or stopped from reaching the vagus nerves, the digestive system goes into a state of shock. The food waste backs up and it can cause terrible complications.

The difference between Gastroparesis and constipation is that with Gastroparesis, food waste gets stuck in or near the stomach, and in constipation the waste builds up in the small intestine. How can one tell a difference? Here are some of the symptoms of Gastroparesis:

  • Vomiting of undigested food
  • Bloating and loss of appetite
  • Heartburn, acid reflux and nausea
  • Dehydration
  • Weight loss and stomach spasms

Gastroparesis can be a chronic condition and in severe cases require surgery to remedy.

Constipation can be diagnosed in a patient exhibiting the following signs:

  • No bowel movements for 3 consecutive days
  • Hard stools 25% of the time during bowel movements
  • Straining at 25% of bowel movements
  • Have two or less bowel movements per week

Treat the Cause, not the Symptom

It’s important to understand that constipation is a symptom and not the disease. By that, I mean there must be an underlying reason for the constipation. In this case, it’s the high blood sugar level that’s causing the constipation, not the other way around. You need to treat the cause to remedy the symptom. Treat the high blood sugar and your chances of experiencing constipation will decrease.

Constipation, while very dangerous if left untreated, is usually an easy condition to get rid of. Eating a healthier diet, with more fiber and water can greatly reduce the chances of constipation. Exercise can also have a great impact on keeping a healthy digestive tract. With both conditions, the key is to control your blood sugar levels. Healthy diets, exercise and water can help keep blood sugar levels closer to a normal level, but of course diabetics may still require assistance in controlling their sugar levels.

The New England Journal of Medicine did a study of class 2 diabetics and the effects that eating a high fiber diet can have on blood sugar levels. There were 2 groups of participants. In the first group, they were instructed to follow a diet that included 24 grams of fiber per day for six weeks. The second group did the same thing, but had to have 50 grams of fiber per day. After six weeks, the two groups switched diet regimens and followed that diet for six more weeks. It was found that when both groups were on the higher fiber diet, their blood sugar levels were lowered by 10%.

If you are diabetic and you are suffering from severe constipation, it’s time to get your blood sugar tested. The longer you wait, the more serious it can become.

How Epsom Salts Can Relieve Constipation

February 13, 2009 by admin · 7 Comments

Many people use Epsom salts to treat their constipation. Epsom salts work like a laxative. The salts can be mixed with water and taken orally or used in an enema. Epsom salts operate by increasing water in the intestines and they can bring temporary relief to someone suffering from constipation. However, there are dangers in using Epsom salts to relieve constipation and many people are unaware of them.

First, many people don’t know what Epsom salt truly is. Epsom salt is just a trade name for magnesium sulfate. One tablespoon of the salt contains about 35g (grams) of magnesium sulfate, or roughly 3.4g of elemental magnesium. This is a very large amount, especially if you understand the daily-recommended allowance is between 300-400 mg (milligrams) per day. Many people do not realize ingesting too much Epsom salt can result in death. Between 1841 and 1909, seven patients were reported to have magnesium toxicity and five of them died. The first reported death by using an Epsom salt enema was in 1943. Sadly, magnesium enemas were commonly used on infants up until the early 1970’s when it was discovered as the cause in some deaths brought on by hypermagnesemia.

Epsom salts have many uses and consumers purchase it without giving it a second thought. However, the infrequent reports of death brought on by magnesium toxicity should give pause for concern. Epsom salts should not be ingested or used in an enema if you have preexisting stomach pain, vomiting, or nausea. Women who are pregnant or nursing should talk with their doctor before using Epsom salts to relieve constipation. It is not known whether Epsom salts are harmful to an unborn fetus or nursing baby. In addition, certain drugs may interact negatively with Epsom salts. These include tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, oxytetracycline, sparfloxacin, penicclamine, digoixin, and nitrofurantoin. It is important to consult with your doctor before taking Epsom salts if you use any of these medications. To be completely safe you should talk with your doctor about Epsom salts if you take any over the counter medications, minerals, vitamins, or herbal products whatsoever.

If you are suffering from digestive trouble and you have been using Epsom salts to relieve constipation, you may be concerned after reading these statements. You may also be interested with using another method to alleviate your constipation. The first step to alleviating constipation is to start by improving your diet. Eat more fresh fruits and raw vegetables and add flaxseeds, brown wild rice, and whole grains to your diet. You should also consume at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water a day and exercise regularly. Exercising three to four times a week for 20 to 30, minutes can help to alleviate constipation. You do not have to do something major like engage in “boot camp” programs or running a marathon. Simple things like walking after dinner or climbing the stairs instead of taking an elevator can go far in getting your bowels moving more regularly.

Lastly, you can help alleviate constipation by avoiding laxatives. That may sound like a contradiction, but it is true. Laxatives can aggravate constipation because they make your bowels sluggish and dependent upon the chemicals to work. In addition, laxatives can cause other intestinal problems such as diarrhea and bloating, and they can even damage your intestinal lining over the long term.

An alternative to laxatives is performing a colon cleanse. By using an all-natural product such as Oxy-Powder®, you can cleanse your body of impacted feces in a safe and effective manner. One reason Oxy-Powder is recommended is because it’s non-invasive and it does not remove the good bacteria necessary for a healthy intestine. Oxy-Powder works by liquefying and clearing out the sludge, fecal matter, and mucus lodged in your colon and intestinal system. In addition to bringing immediate constipation relief, Oxy-Powder also creates an environment welcoming to the “good bacteria” aiding in healthy digestion.

What can you expect from Oxy-Powder® in terms of results? As stated, it will liquefy the hard matter presently lodged in your system. You will have watery stools; however, this should not be confused with diarrhea, which is caused by viral infection of the digestive tract. The liquefying effect is simply a byproduct of the oxidation process. When you are first introducing your body to Oxy-Powder you should monitor how your body responds to it. While you will not have the harsh urge to go to the bathroom like you would if you had used an enema, you will have to go to the bathroom frequently and you will have extra gas. So it is recommended to stay close to a bathroom during your initial colon cleansing program.

Now that you have some pertinent information on Epsom salts, do your body a favor and save them for your bath water. Do not ingest Epsom salts to relieve constipation or use them in an enema unless you are directed to do so by a qualified physician. There are safer ways to alleviate constipation that also provides effective, long-term results and are healthier for you without all the negative side effects. Be good to your colon and it will be good to you!

Colon Cleansing: Detoxify For Better Health With Almighty Cleanse

February 8, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

The colon’s main function is to expel waste and toxins from the body. When not working properly, these toxins can build up, often causing ailments such as constipation, cramping, bloating, gas, headaches, irritability, stress, fatigue, acne, the inability to process nutrients and much more. Colon cleansing is a simple and effective way to purify the colon and help get to the root of these symptoms and prevent them even before they start!

So, what exactly causes an unhealthy colon? A poor diet is the leading contributor to toxic buildup within the body. Fast foods and most commercially grown fruits and vegetables contain harmful toxins that can often become trapped in your body. Another cause is old and hardened fecal matter that can actually begin to line the intestinal walls if not expelled properly. The human body is capable of carrying up to 15 pounds of fecal matter in their intestines! Other contributing factors include pollution, unpurified water, weight gain, premature aging and much more.

Danny Vierra, an expert on colon detoxification, has developed a revolutionary product called Almighty Cleanse, which is designed to detoxify your body while boosting your body’s own internal cleansing method. The first of the two-part system is intended to gently remove the toxins and fecal matter from your colon by stimulating your digestive system, and the second helps to expel the waste and toxins, leaving you feeling light, fresh and healthy! For maximum benefit, it is recommended to cleanse your colon 4 times each year, or at the start of each season. This way you will be able to be rid of the toxins before they start to build up, therefore escaping any symptoms of an unhealthy colon.

The health benefits of a properly functioning colon are endless. You will notice a flatter stomach, clearer skin, fresher breath, more energy and stamina. Some benefits that are equally important, but may not be noticed right away, are a healthier immune system and gastrointestinal tissue, lower cholesterol levels and a healthier digestive system. With Almighty Cleanse, you will be able to see and feel the long term benefits of a healthier and more efficient colon right away.

8 Steps For Avoiding Constipation

February 7, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Constipation

Many people suffer from constipation and, in fact, it is so common that you might think it is normal and cannot be avoided. But this couldn’t be further from the truth, constipation is not a normal state it is a direct result of you lifestyle you lead which includes the food you eat and those which your diet lacks. Luckily, you can avoid constipation and here are nine things you can do to ensure that your digestive system always runs like clockwork.

1. Get enough fiber. I’m sure you’ve heard this one before, but are you really getting enough? The average adult should get 25 to 35 g of fiber a day and if you aren’t eating a lot of fruits, vegetables and whole wheat products then chances are you are getting way less than that. Fiber helps add roughage to your bowel movements and aids your bowels in working correctly so it is vital if you want to have regular movements and avoid constipation.

2. Get enough fluids. If you don’t drink enough fluids, your stools will become hard and this will make it more difficult to have a ball movement. You should drink at least eight 8 oz glasses of water a day and avoid caffeinated beverages as these do nothing to add water to your intestines where it is needed most.

3. Dieting? If you are on a diet that has you eating foods you are not used to or foods that don’t have a lot of fiber such as some of the low-carb diets that put a big emphasis on protein than the changing your eating habits as well as the lack of fiber can be causing constipation. Make sure you get plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits every day.

4. Medications. Many medications cause constipation so if you’re on any medicine it’s a good idea to check it to see if it is constipation causing. If it is, you’ll want to counteract it by adding even more fiber into your diet and making sure you get enough water to correct.

5. Pregnancy. Pregnant women often suffer from constipation due to the many changes going on in their body. The best way to combat this, and also the healthiest way, is to get a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet as well as drink a lot of water.

6. Decrease your coffee consumption. Caffeinated coffee can cause you to become constipated because the caffeine acts as a diuretic and causes water to be lost in your urine instead of placing the water in your colon where it can help solve your stools.

7. Distress. If you’re stressed out than chances are this can be adding to your bowel problems. Try practicing stress relief by taking a hot bath, doing yoga or just relaxing in front of the fire.

8. Exercise. Exercising is a great way to get everything moving and help relieve constipation. Walking is especially good as the gentle rocking motion can help stimulate your bowels into action. Try taking a half-hour walk every day it is many health benefits not the least of which is helping you to avoid constipation.

Constipation doesn’t have to be a way of life. If you live a healthier lifestyle with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains and avoid package and processed foods as well as include some moderate exercise and you’ll find that you become more regular as well as healthier.

Detoxifying Your Body

What does that mean? I’ve been learning more and more about this. It sounds scary but it’s really easy to do. We touch and eat toxins that get absorbed into our bodies. The fat cells then cling onto those toxins meaning the fat stays on our bodies and it gets harder and harder to lose.

I’ve tried several different products that claim to detox your body. I’ve found one that I feel really works.

It’s Coral Calcium 02, it’s delivered in a pure ionic form, which means it is immediately bioavailable to the body. Meaning it can help with other issues we have with our bodies.

This helps absorb vitamins and minerals from the foods you eat and the supplements you take combats arthritis and heart disease, cleans the kidneys, intestines, and liver, protects our bodies from free radical cell damage from everyday life, increase muscle and joint mobility, increase your oxygen levels, control digestive problems, regulates blood sugar, manages blood pressure, neutralizes harmful acids that lead to illness also helps fighting the battle against cancer and other diseases.

Revitalize means Alkalinity equal good health. Coral Calcium 02 transforms your water into a powerful alkaline beverage, which fights against the physical stress caused by today’s fast paced lifestyles.

As your body becomes more acidic, your internal environment becomes inviting for harmful bacteria to grow and proliferate. Cleansing your body of these microforms and their toxic waste is vital to regaining a healthy balance within your system. NuCleanse will help cleanse and detoxify the whole body including the colon, blood, lymph, tissues, interstitial fluids, liver, and kidneys. Cleansing with NuCleanse will help eliminate negative microforms and excess acidity thereby getting your body’s ph in balance more quickly, purifying it from years of damaging toxic buildup.

NuCleanse is made of 20 all natural herbs. These herbs break down the foods that we eat and pass them through the body more easily without leaving toxins. NuCleanse, if taken as directed, is designed to cleanse the colon making your digestive system run more efficiently.

You should start to see results within 1 to 3 weeks. Years of toxic build up may not disappear at once. That’s why we recommend maintaining your NuCleanse regiment for at least three months to assure a more complete system purging. You may even see certain manifestations of toxic build up leaving your body.

Once toxic mucus and meat residue is out of your system, you may wish to continue using NuCleanse on a daily basis to maintain a healthy colon and to promote good digestion. According to the American Dietetic Association, an average person should consume at least 20 to 35 grams of fiber each day, but Americans only eat about 5 to 20 grams a day.

Did you know that the average person contains 5 to 25 pounds of waste buildup in their colon? This may lead to increased bacteria and toxins that contaminate our system causing common sicknesses and diseases.

Approximately 90% of all disease and discomfort is related to an unclean colon. Internal cleansing is essential for a healthy, active lifestyle, especially in this fast paced, fast food society.

Stop fighting the diet and body cleansing battle and discover how NuCleanse flushes the excess waste build up, and deadly toxins out of your body, resulting in rapid weight loss and better health.

Ionic Bentonite
NuCleanse contains ionic bentonite clay. Bentonite aids in detoxification because it contains a large and varied mineral content. Bentonite has a negative electrical attraction for positively charged particles such as toxins and harmful bacteria.

Psyllium Fiber
NuCleanse also contains psyllium husk powder, which is a great fiber source as well as a natural laxative. Psyllium contains mucilagins that are beneficial as both a laxative and anti-diarrheal. Psyllium is useful in restoring normal bowel functions and promoting healthy colon functions. The nutritional benefits of psyllium are great for cleansing the large intestines, expelling toxins from the body.

Cleansing Herbs
The herbal blend in NuCleanse (Senna Leaf, Cascara Sagrada, Burdock Root, Parsley Leaf, Alfalfa Herb, Fennel Seed, and Licorice Root) also help remove toxins and wastes from the colon.

Did you know it takes 32 glasses of alkaline water to neutralize the acid from one 12 oz soda? Each time you drink acidic soda, coffee, tea, and energy drinks your body uses its own buffers (from bone and dna) to raise the body’s alkalinity to maintain your healthy blood pH level of 7.35 to 7.45.

The Facts:
More than 1 in 5 Americans unknowingly drink tap water polluted with feces, radiation or other contaminants. Nearly 1,000 deaths each year and at least 400,000 cases of waterborne illness may be attributed to contaminated water. The New York Times June 2, 1995 Clean your water with 02.

There is an answer to easily change the affects of the world on your body. Just by adding this to our water, it helps regulate our bodies and keeps us health. By keeping us healthy we are able to fight off illnesses.
