How to get rid of a bloated belly caused by constipation?

I've been having this problem the last few days, and need help badly …I suffer from constipation, and a few days ago my belly started to get bloated, and I dunno what to do. I've been eating lots of fiber to try to stop the constipation but its no use.
Should I try a laxative? will this end the whole bloated belly thing? It makes me look about a few pounds heavier, Help?

It sounds like you have been constipated for several days. I think eating fruit and taking some stool softeners may help, if not by all means take a gentle laxative because you are filling up with gas and you need to relieve all that pressure and contents of your colon.Also drink plenty of liquids maybe prune juice which is a natural laxative.

    Try lying on a heating pad, on your stomach. If this doesn't help, try a glycerin suppository.

    Do you know why you are constipated? Do you eat alot of red meat? Exercise at all,even just walking,do you drink much water?     Go get you some Miralax, its an over the counter powder. Mix a capful with any juice and it should work in a day or two. You can actually take it everyday so make sure you don't get constipated again.

    * Try eating fruits that can "soften" your bowels like papaya.
    * Avoid fruits that can "harden" your bowels like bananas.
