Dietary fiber is a great way to naturally prevent constipation problems from occurring. During the evacuation process, fiber will absorb water and thus soften stool making it easier and less painful to have a bowel movement. Dietary fiber also adds bulk to solid waste so the colon has an easier time pushing waste through the body.
